3 Step guide to build a Habit

Habits will build your lifestyle, and your lifestyle will define your health. 

Anyone can build a habit with the following process, do try it out & let us know in the comments if it helped you.


Step 1 : CHOOSE A SPECIFIC HABIT & TIMELINE

Habit chosen: I want to exercise 30 mins everyday 

·        Give chosen habit a priority & be flexible with it

For example if you are not able to exercise in morning due to some professional commitments, complete your exercise before you sleep - reduce the time to 20 mins 

·        You are still consistent


Step 2: IMPLEMENT THIS HABIT NOW

Problem: My sleep & wake up time is irregular 

Solution:

·        Reduce activities that delay your sleep

·        Eat dinner at a fixed time & avoid late eating pattern 

·        Set a simple goal of 30 mins - 6 days in a week 

·        Track your achieved days of workout in a planner 


Step 3: FOLLOW IT FOR 30 DAYS

·        Do it everyday & build consistency 

·        30 days are essential to build a foundation of a great habit

·        To get better at it you need to keep going even after 30 days

Convert it into 365 days and then lifelong
